We love the Charleston community, and our mission is to help Lowcountry locals thrive. We’ve managed over a dozen ribbon cuttings, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. We know you have a lot of options, so here’s what makes us rise above the rest:
Key messaging. Every event needs cohesive, unified messaging. We’ll create an event-specific key messaging document to guide all of our efforts.
Data-driven decisions. At the beginning of our engagement, we’ll set up a dashboard to track progress towards your most important marketing KPIs.
OhmIQ’s Lab Grand Opening
-
OhmIQ, a Charleston-based start-up that develops propriety algorithms and technology for ohmic heating devices, tasked Paralian Marketing with running PR efforts and supporting event logistics for its inaugural ribbon-cutting ceremony in November 2024.
-
We worked closely with OhmIQ and the Charleston County Economic Development Department to curate a seamless ribbon-cutting ceremony and to establish messaging for the event.
-
We created a detailed run of show (ROS), covering the event's speakers, facility tours, and presentations, all with precise times attached. Throughout the event planning process, we refined the ROS until it was perfect and distributed it to stakeholders on the morning of the event. We supported additional event logistics by writing talking points for speeches, capturing content for social media, and assisting leadership with tours and presentations.
Additionally, we created a local media list to help target Charleston-based business publications to publish the event’s press release. We pitched and followed up with targeted local publications, including local TV news stations.
-
The event was a success and the day ran smoothly. OhmIQ’s business partners and investors enjoyed an in-depth office tour, and a brand-new OhmIQ product was unveiled at the event. The event generated new leads and partnerships for the emerging start-up.
We exceeded our press goal by securing 18 total hits, including one television news segment.
We secured a reach of 1.5 million unique monthly viewers across all hits.
OhmIQ’s increase in media exposure led to an increase in business website traffic and a 37% increase in LinkedIn followers.
